Pioneer DVH-4050 Divx File Play

Hi Folks,

I have a Pioneer DVH-4050 DVD player ( with divx support ) in my scorpio.
The problem here is i cannot play all avi format files.

I have several CD's in which only couple of the avi movies work and others dont. Just curious to know is there any specific file/format which is supported by my DVD player.

All the CD's which i have are avi and why only few plays. All the CD's are test in my TV DVD player and works fine there.

Is there any tool in which i can convert all my files so that it will be picked up by my Player.
