yes, the Dynaudio esotar2 430 midrange. It's been available since CES (around January) , thats where it was announced.
it's a cone midrange as opposed to the esotec MD402 being a sealed back dome, the esotar needs an enclosure though and its 3,5" but it works down to a really great response of around from 200hz up to 7000hz or so with the Fs being 64 Hz
it costs around the same price as the esotar2 110 tweeter which means it is expensive but since midrange is the most important range of frequencies i think this will do a positively topnotch job. I for one would love to use this in a complete three way + esotar sub with two of the 4 channel Tru Technology Super Billet amps.
if my plans of getting the esotar 650's and 110's come right soon then i think that in the long term that is what im aiming for as my final system |
