Reverse the connections to one of the speakers. They are wired out of phase right now. Possibly it was so earlier also - maybe you never noticed. The problem must be at the HU end of the connection. Get it done from wherever you got the JBLs fitted. JC Road is not advisable - their interest level is linked with how much business you bring.

I visited EVO yesterday, for my budget they suggested

HU - Kenwood MP6043U
Front 4" - Hertz DCX100 or BOSTON 5545
Rear - Polk DB690
Rear Parcel Tray (MDF)

@CarsPG - Have you completed your ICE setup, If so please post some pics

deralte, assuming the ICE was factory fitted, can't believe they screwed up the phase!
If the fault was at the dealer end, it would have been more forgiveable

What are the prices quoted?

Also what were the alternatives for the Kenwood HU (like JVC, Pioneer, etc)?

Any specific reason for Kenwood?

This is more general question,
Also your setup looks without any amp, my concern is, is the power from HUs enough to run good/powerful speakers?

Please listen to the speakers (atleast) before you buy. Both Polk and Hertz were too bright for my taste. But my taste might not be what you like.

I may go for the Amp in future, I cannot do it now due to 'm' factor.
These are initial proposal, I will check the sound quality before installing

"I got this awesome 14k stereo free from the company" Not GM, it was the dealer, or rather the ICE guy annexed to the dealer! Common mistake, especially when you are in a hurry to take delivery, and the speakers don't give much bass anyhow.

Since most of the cables that come with after-market speakers have pre-crimped lugs - one broad, one narrow - one doesn't make a mistake on the speaker side. At the HU end there is no such 'polarization', and that is where the mistake happens. This mistake never happens if the car is pre-wired, for ICE i.e. harness has speaker cables wired already, since the harness is tested against specs.

DerAlte, I was talking about salunkhe.vizz's spark music edition. I thought the ICE came preinstalled

For salunkhe.vizz it is pre-installed. Do you think GM keeps "Music Edition" ready in all colors at each depot? Making a normal car "Music Edition" just before delivery makes more operational sense, no? Otherwise, why would the dealer specifically mention "worth 14K"? GM wouldn't have given a separate price.

Oh ok. I was under the impression that all Manufacturer special editions were factory assembled

Full-package special editions, which include alloy wheels, body decals, ICE etc. are factory assembled, since they are made in a very limited range of colors (most of the time only 1 color), have a longer wait time and usually have a sticker / decal declaring the fact.

I am using SPARK LT from more than 2 years. I am using Illusion EL4.1 components. These are absolutely terrific. If you are on low budget, power it directly from HU. Later you can drive it using ampliflier.
