Recession special ICE on my S 10 - Check out !

Guys check out my recession special ICE !

As you all know i got this beautiful used S 10 recently , had few unpredicted stuff ( Battery conked off ) so didn't have enough vitamin M ,even though i love music , i never felt like going for a high end ICE ( just wanted a good head unit ). The S 10 comes with a stock cassette player, so i searched for this adapter, when i got it I was very apprehensive, but one i jacked it up in my car ... wow !! I worked great man !! long live china ......

It is integrated with your i-pod/ mp3 player !

I had a transcent 2 GB player , so total damage Rs. 139/- , wow !

Money spent well, wisely and to your taste......I love the concept of Sasta, Sunder aur tikau (Economic, beautiful and long lasting) but that's a different story I don't apply it anywhere.. enjoy the music till you feel you got enough vitamin M and need an upgrade...

Even i use this adapter in my older cars, which come only with the OE cassette player. I cannot change them due to the fact that it affects the originality of these cars. Btw, consider yourself lucky that your S10 has the OE stereo still in it. Most cars have them yanked off, and have some marks to show, due to the funny shape of the stereo.

hi ricky,

Its kind of AUX input for older HUs (which dont have point for AUX I/P).

It will read signal from other devices like a mobile phone or mp3 or portable CD players and input it to cassette HEAD. To do this, adaptor converts electric signal from mp3 player and convert it to magnetic signal. the magnetic signal will then be transferred to HU head. The HEAD will convert this back to electric signal and transfer it to amp and hence to speakers.

it has a mechanism which ensures that the magentic tape keeps rolling ensuring the tape never reaches its end. thus music rolls on !!

hope this helps.

I had this done on the Pioneer HU of my old M 800. Worked brilliantly!! Now, I use this on the HU of my Santro which has only a tape player. Plug in to the 30 gig iPod and it's nirvana on my long drives.
