Can't wait to see things going. I would also add a 2 farad cap along with those amps, enough reserve power juice for those amps.

Thanks guys. I dunno about the cap. Will I need one? Its just 2 amps. Both are efficient. The mono is more efficient than even a class d one.

Frank it's not about just 2 amps it's the amount of current they would need or take up. With total of 1500W those 2 amps will be throwing out, its not that there will be an issue without cap, but I say why not have for that power surge and since you already have such a great system shaping up, why not add one..just incase. It's like what would happen if no sound damping material used at all, not that drivers need damping for them to play, but we all know how much it could help.

I did a little research. A cap is not needed for this system. I will add one if the current draw from the battery is too high.

There's no need for it frank.

No need for cap....I am running a (2400 + 300 + 240) watts rms setup..no issues faced till now.

Alright fine. My components have been ordered. Most probably shipped from Amazon to the venue from where, delivery will happen to India.

Cheers!

I have done the big 2, that is battery to chassis and engine to chassis. Not done the alternator to the battery. And would recommend you not to get it done because it will void warranty in your case as you will be tampering the alternator wiring.

Thanks. The big 2 is anyways mandatory since we are adding 2 amplifiers that have a current draw of about 100A at any given time.
Not touching the Alternator wire for now!

Nope. Dls reference I've not heard. Heard the iridium and didn't like them much.
