Not touching the Alternator wire for now!
The average current draw would be quite less. The peaks will be 100 amps.

Numerically, from LBM's figures it is, at 12V, 200 + 15 + 20 = 235A + (thermal factor). But, practically one can never reach that current since those currents can be reached only by feeding pure sine wave, that also at a frequency that would consume the largest current (frequency dependent impedance). In actual usage, the signal is a random mix of sinusoids, many of which consume very less current even at peak.

Pioneer Premier. Hmmm. VERY good guess. I was a few inches close to pulling the plug on the TS-C720PRS. It's one of the BEST component sets ever made. But the tweeter was a slightly weaker link, and the Xover was rated @ 50w. I needed 2 more channels to go active OR I would have to make do with the measly crossover.
JL? Naah. Too expensive.
Great GAS nonetheless!!

One amp does 1551*1 and the other does 120*2. Also, the Clarion Mono DOESNT COME WITH INBUILT FUSES. Amazingly, one has to use a 200A () inline fuse to do the job.

What would be the current draw from MY amps, if the above given figures are taken for the calculation.
