When the Palio 1.6 came out, it was cool and fast so we bought it. Then we needed a hatch to put a power demo in, so we used it. Shrug. PLus we did all that sh*t to the engine so it made huge VROOM sounds lol

Sam how old is this. lots of stuff could have been done differently.

1. the RCA wires into the power amps should have been bought from the side of the subs so they could be hidden.

2. any reason to have the XO mounted ON the door instead of someplace else? I fear the wires would be exposed to careless legs.

3. love that tweeter mount betnwe the 2 woofers. MTM in a car! ha ha ha

and someone left their mobile connected to the HU. :-)

This alternator - battery thing has it's drawbacks. Charge a battery 2 fast too often and you shorten it's life. I find it makes more sense to use 2 batteries with a dual battery isolator so one battery is left to run the system and the other for the car. What say you guys?

I agree. However:

Availability of a dry battery: Leader GMBH used to market it's dry battery here with prestolite, however those batteries are no longer available. I assume it's the lack of customers. The need for a dry battery is obvious because it is difficult to find 2 upright positions for the battery. Currently Lighning Audio has a dry battery but at a prohibitive price.

I find it simpler to use a 150A, 13.2V power supply to run my demo systems. It just sounds so hot with that much juice flowing through the amps.

but is 150A portable?

Lightning Audio is very expensive. even in the US. What about a bank of Motorbike batteries. SAB NIFE / HBL makes some batteries for industrial uses. http://www.hblnifeuk.com/ourproducts.htm
