Hondaputer !! Carpc in my ANHC !

Honda gave the new city an advanced Audio system and I decided to make it a bit more advanced!

Here are specs of the pc
Intel D945GCLF2 (integrated Atom),
2 GB corsair memory,
500 gb 7200 rpm Seagate,
160W DC-DC with Startup/shutdown controller.
Lilliput 7 inch
ELM 327 USB
Bluetooth Gps
Belkin F8T016 bluetooth dongle.
Centrafuse for frontend and Windows 7 for OS.

I am using rcjoycon to control centrafuse with the steering remote control. I am having issues with it while windows resumes from hibernation !!

Some parts were brought from iride, I used to have carpc in my fusion which I have taken it out and shifted to the Honda city with new motherboard ect.

Apart from the media I am using the Phone,Gps,OBD features which seem to be working fine as of now.

The project is nowhere near complete, I plan to integrate the reverse sensor and an TMPS if possible, but not sure when and how ;-).

Will need help from other carpc experts in the forum to help me fine tune the system.

Next step is change the stock speakers, will need serious help from audio gurus here.

Posting few pics of the project..

NEAT INSTALLATION !
How's windows 7 in carpc setup ? Standby and resume timings ? I am going to try it soon W7.
How is phone functioning with CF ? Are you using onboard soundcard or any external ? with which mic ? any issues related to echo ?

Post more details please. where is the case sitting ?

TPMS is possible. You might face problem with valve. I think on mp3car. someone has mentioned that you need alloys to install TPMS custom valve. make sure you check it before you buy TPMS system.
I would love to see the screenshot of OBD from CF. havent seen this OBD menu in my setup. coz Suzuki is using some weird OBD-2 protocol. :(

On the ICE section. We have very good Gurus here.

Forget the specs. That makes a very nice eye candy. The OE stuff looks yuck.

Good job with the effort.

I notice that the central console of the dash has been replaced. Did the new one come with the mask (black frame) which fitted the computer screen exactly? I am keen to know the cost of the new console.

Where did you get the center panel from. Do the steering wheel controls integrate with this system?

Why not Chrome?

No, it is not about the OS. It is only about practical out-of-the-box applications being available that can be installed and run. In this, Windows-based Centrafuse has the first-mover's advantage - no programming or any other geek skill needed.

Linux, Mac OS, WiMo, Nucleus, etc. all of them are suitable - just that they don't have a Centrafuse-like application.
