Gosh !!!! I had to read that twice to figure out exactly what u meant JK..

Yes navin . i think he can use the 650C's at the front and get the GTO 636 for the rear .. Use the 6100 to run the sub and the rears .. And get a 60.2 for the fronts and better wires too ..

Damage done will certainly be less than 15k and he has a better soundstage at the end of it all ... With the left over money u can buy ur son a K&N filter perhaps for the baleno ... Thus ending (for the moment) sams theory of spending the left over money on gals .. Talking of which where is he ???

PS : Arent any of the ICE members interested in making it to the "National TBHP Meet at Goa" ???

less than 15K how dare you?
JBL 636 - 4K
JBL 60.2 - 6K
Monster interlink Jr. RCA wires - 2K/pr x 2 for 6100 and 60.2 amps - 4K
labour for install - 1K
------
total 15K

Like Sam says "what is this engine vengine" The only K&N we talk about here are Kapasi and Navin! :-)

Then id say cut the 60.2 (8k saved directly) and use the HU to run the rears .. Thus saving a lot for engine vengine .. Kya navin , TSR's sons a college going kid (i suppose) .. Thoda bahut engine vengine performance mangta hey u know hum logonkeliye.. Maybe he can rope in a set of headers too with the money saved.. Maybe even a freeflow .. .. Just kidding ..

Sam still thinks its his music/legs (aka fred flintstone style) that moves the car forward , thats why the "yeh engine vengine kya hey" ..

Well i put the components up front and JBL co axials for the rear.(not too sure about the model but my son got it from his friend for free )

But the sound is still not so great(the co axials are good) regarding the amp should i buy a monobloc and replace the woofer
Lastly where should i install the tweeters

what dont you like about the sound?

in the front the tweeters could be installed on the outside mirror pods (inside the car), I dont like on dash installs as too much gets reflected of the windshield.

Yes a better sub can be used but I would first skip the sub and try and get good music for us the HU, Amp and 4 speakers. Once you got that then integrate a sub. trying to change too many variables at one time is asking for trouble.

once you are satisfied with the music your system is producing then you an add a sub and amp to add some substance to the lower octaves and compensate for road noise. Give us your amp+sub budget anyways. we love spending money :-)

BTW I missed the JBL party in Mumbai partly because we were making a python and a tree for my son's fancy dress and partly because my son was not well. Maybe next time.

when my son is not well he needs me around. he is papa's boy. BTW at 18 months he knew a capacitor from an inductor. Now he freaks out my Engg. college friends when they come over by talking about electrons in the TV tube. We made him a python on a tree. I was thinking about renting Sam as the tree but I was not sure if his nursery would appreciate that.
