some help needed here , planning to install a blau gta4 mk2 amp and am looking for install suggestions .. whats the best way to conceal it ? the installers said front seat is too small for it and can only be done in boot ? since i make a lot of airport trips i d like to install it somewhere else other the than boot

well dad has a construction company and sometimes loads metal tools and planks so dont want it to get damaged or have the wires knocked out by the people who load it


but looks like i dont really have too many other options

Navin Ji he fears that if mounted on the rear seat the luggage might damage it...but bottle you can put a cover over it to protect it and the cover should be ventilated...

Kudos the lord of JBL,
I am Suvrajit, a bong from bangalore, I have just bought a Swift and the novice that I am, think did pretty well to buy a Pioneer 6950, and GTO607 and a pair of GTO937 for rear, cant afford a AMP right now, nor a sub(if all permits in the future for sure) now how do I get the best out of this setup, the comp is fixed in the front doors and the tweeters on top of the a pillars facing each other and the 937 in the rear MDF plank?? your advice will be much appreciated by the newbie.

well try using the fader. I would fade to the front and then very slowly fade to the rear till the rear is barely audible.

the bottom of the A pillar would have been nicer for the tweeter but now that you have cut the holeon the top let it be.

Hiya Suv,

Apart from what navin says, make sure you have less or minimum masala in your music. Stay as cloose as possible to 0, on the bass and treble. Don't go beyong +2. If you like loudness, keep it on mid.
You may initially find it dull (if it was all high) but in time you will understand and appreciate the true pleasure of good listening.

Most importantly, the equipment is just a means, remember the objective is to enjoy the music

rightly said Samji.

A couple of days back, after reading some similar posts in this thread and else where, I changed the equiliser set up to flat/vocal and voila!! I have actually started listening to songs.
It seems that all these days (ever since my ICE set up done), all I was listening to was dum dum and chil chil only!!!

Hmmm.... That doesn't look good to me. Why on top? As Navinji said, It should be kept on the base of the pillar facing the opposite seats.
Work on this and you will get a more better sounding setup.

hi guys got my gta4 amp installed but having an issue , when i rev the engine there is a whining sound from speakers which increases depending on how hard i rev .. initially it was quite bad but later the installer split the power wire along one side of car and rca cables on other side but after leaving i noticed the sound is still there slightly. any thoughts on the reason ?

guess its a fault with cables ? going again tomorrow to get it redone
