I am not sure what is the remote signal However amp and sub both had their power running from battery.

4 weeks itself is little lesser IMO.
I've parked my cars for 2+ months and never had battery drain issues.

Mentioned four weeks since that’s the maximum I had tested. Mine is a two car garage with a need for one car. So one of the cars always ends up getting parked for extended periods however I make sure to start and drive a little once a month.

Hi, I am looking for an Audio upgrade on my SX4. Currently the car is running on stock speakers with a generic android HU. I intend to upgrade to the following, step by step. The setup I intend is a SQ setup with more emphasis on melodious, heart melting kind of sound profile.

The subwoofer is where I am a little confused since the boot is isolated from the cabin. Will the bass travel be good enough? I intend to put a 12 inch subwoofer in a sealed box with a mono amp. I do not want window shattering bass but rather a clean deep sustained bass that complements the overall sound.

Also since you have already owned the SX4, what are the essential areas to damp? Any car specific things to keep in mind?
