Yes the original one is Neil Sedaka but the most famous remixes are by Andrew Sixty only.

i have a small query. i have been using the GZ MK2 sub, in the ported box since 8 months.its driven via JBL 75.4. i have observed one thing. the diaphragm of the sub doesnt move much or i can say moves just a bit in normal as well as reverse phase.
today i tried stuffing thermocol in the port, blocking it completely. immediately i observed that the diaphragm is banging to a huge extent with amazing bass.
shall i close the port ?

what way shall i close the port. by mere stuffing some stuff inside it or by putting a wooden permenent lid over it?

The best way to test it is,choose a fav. song/track and play it at a set volume,now seal it and listen to that same song/track you choose you will notice alot difference in the low's.Then the decesion is yours which one you liked.
You can put a wooden plan and seal it up,dont stuff anything inside.

i played the " Madonna, Frozen" song with 320 kbps bitrate. the sound quality of song is very good and the bass is amazing.
first played it with the open port. the woofer was moving to a certain extent, say X.
then i stuffed a towel in the port. with the same song at same volume the woofer started moving at X+20-30% more.
the bass is good in quality with a better control and it leaves ripples in the whole car.

now do i continue with the towel or else a different method would prove better?

I would suggest seal the port using a wooden plank wrapped up with the same cloth material and get rid of the towel

I'm planning for a enclosure for my car which is going to be fixed at a certain place. I'm in a confusion. What is the best way to put the subwoofer in the boot. Facing towards the rear seat or facing towards the rear of the car?

When i had a woofer earlier I used to keep the enclosure facing to the rear, and i liked it.

this will go in your fiesta right, will not make a huge difference but you can always try different position.

I think the best thing to do is to try all positions and see which one gives you the most satisfaction. The important thing is that you do it in the car and place it in the rear.

hehe. Anyway I tried placing the Sub in boot (Swift) facing different directions and I liked facing rear (to hatch door) the best. Since the enclosure is a perfect square box i couldn't try angled positions, but facing rear at an angle (facing the rear glass) is also common and works fine.

No keep the towel. I use old tennis socks (washed). I think there was a thread on it - at least it was discussed in detail on this fourm somewhere in 2004-5 (anyone remember CCTB - I have not forgotten).
