I bought a CD lens cleaner and it can be used in two modes : Wet & Dry. The cleaning CD has a brush on it. And, most of the lens cleaners that I've seen are having the brush.

The wet mode means to pour the cleaning liquid on the brush before using and the dry mode means to use the CD w/o any liquid.

So is it safe to use the CD lens cleaner with the brush ?

*BUMP*

Which is a good CD/DVD lens cleaner?

I need one for my car CD player, and one for my home DVD player.

Is Philips DVD lens cleaner good for both applications? Comes for about Rs 225 I guess.

Also, please expound on the wet and dry method. Will the above mentioned Philips product work, as mentioned by Mithun?

Re: Cleaning the car CD player lens

Recently in my Sony xplod car CD player ( 3 yrs old) , I am facing a problem in the CD unit. The system is not accepting the CDs and ejecting out. Even if I try to push it forcibly, it ejects out in next moment.

Pls can you suggest what DIY i can perform to resolve this....all my CDs are gathering dust since almost a month after this problem.
