Sound Upgrade for Scorpio:Limited to Speakers.

Hi All,
What would be best speaker combination, positioning, and speaker make and type alongwith the size for the Scorpio without changing the Factory fitted Mahindra USB MP3 player?
Why is the player not being changed?Vitamin M constraints....
Budget for speaker/tweeter upgrade?....around 8-10k currently.

Thanks in advance...

try out few good 6.5" Compos upfront. JBL, Infinity, Hertz, etc.. all make good compos.
If you are not going for a Sub, you can take a pair of 6x9 Coaxials

What is the stock speaker size in Scropio? I thought it is 5.25" front / rear doors. 6x9 ovals can be put in the tailgate.

I remember seeing 2 round speakers fitted onto the rear most door pad. I do not know if it has ovals anywhere as I could not see them.

It is those round speakers fitted which made take my decision to change them at the earliest..

6x9 ovals can be mounted - with custom MDF spacers - at those locations. The objective is to lift the oval driver out just that much that as much of it's rear frame goes into the original hole as possible.
