Frank Metha has a Fiesta and I think he has 6" installed so 6" should fit with minimal mods.

DrFrankBhaiMehta fitted his Alpine SPX midbass with the help of the adapter that came with the speakers. I am sure an appropriate adapter can be fabricated to accommodate other 6.5" speakers in the stock mounting location meant for 5x7 speakers.

That's right. Fitting 6.5 inchers in a Fiesta is as easy as 1-2 and 3 if you go to a good installer. Half my installer's work (for the front midbasses) was cut short, since the Alpine set came with adaptors as standard.

Alpine X types are 6" with mounting diameter smaller than 6.5". So its easier to install in 5X7" location

But isn't it the case with almost all manufacturers? None of them have the EXACT 6.5 inch diameter, do they?

sir, i too own a fiesta. on inquiry, i found out that the speakers are produced by the ford motor company itself. it is not sold as an after market accessory and hence people feel that its some chinese company's product.
