I have a budget of 8-9K. How are Scosche and JBL for wiring.

Scoche would not give you an exact 0 awg, they are known for that and JBL you can get only 8awg wiring kit. you can also two of these. Else extend your budget a little bit and get the kicker if you insist on getting proper branded car audio power kit. Or you can also try to source one from abroad at your budget.

Ok. Im sorry for these repeated questions(im a noob). Im still confused.
The Harman Kardon manual recommends 4AWG wiring so is there any harm in going for them. Can you please tell what advantage does 0AWG have over 4AWG wires.
Also if i can use a 4AWG cable for the 4ch. can i use the same for the mono.

No need for going for 0gauge wiring for your amps, I would suggest you go for two power cables-4gauge for your HK amp and the 4/2 gauge for your mono.

The kicker kit has 0 Guage from battery to distribution block and from there it splits into two 4awg wires which you connect your amps to. If you are going to spend 9K on two amp wiring kits it only makes sense to go for the kicker.

I know what you are talking about Sathee, but its just tht I always prefer seperate power cavles for the amps.

Raghu its important that you understand that once the HPF & gains are set according to the speakers even if they are played at very high volumes for a long period of time it wont in any way harm the components.Thus it is important that the stuff in the car is tuned properly for a good listening experience as well as the longevity of your components.Anyways hig end equipment can take extra power.

@DjNik, Thanks for the link.
I simply buy that high frequency would mean less power.
But I though gain is something to do with matching the input signal level to the amp. input levels and hence nothing to do with the speakers. It shall always be adjusted to match the HU preamp output levels, but not to make the amp give out little less power than it can.

I guess the best solution in case of high overpowered speakers is to never reach the max volumes level on the system.

Ya frank just that your amp is a more powerful one...:)

JBL wiring kits have been discontinued since 2008(?). So, please be cautious, or even better, avoid.

And, as far as my understanding goes, speakers/subs can be damaged more often by an underpowered amp than a slightly higher powered amp.

As DJ said, Frank, your amp is just about twice as powerful :-(

@ rocksterraghu - JBL has just introduced wiring kits. The ones which were available earlier were the fake ones. I won't be going for them anyway.
Also I do not think so and the sub will not be significantly underpowered as it should give about 650W at 3 Ohm.
The gurus would know better.
