Nitrous that is an old video. I remember seeing it some time back how did you dig it up? Never thought they put it on YouTUBE. See if you find a similar promo for Revel. Revel (for those who dont know) is one of only 2 brands that was created by Harman International (JBL, Infinity, Lexicon, etc..) were all brands that were bought by Harman Intl.

Actually this is not really how Infinity (or any commercial) speakers are designed - more like how they are auditioned and maybe fine tuned. The design (once it gets it's nod from the marketing team) usually involves a very small group of designers who have a fair knowledge of acoustics, electronics, and know what to listen for and how to corelate measurements to sonic signature.

Once a rough design is done the manufacturing guys backed by bean counters work out how to commercialise the speaker (usually a series of models). The speakers you see in the video are all commercial models with every accessory in place.

B&T, Sam Kapasi and other pros involved in the audio industry will be shed more light on this.

OT: I recently ICEd my Linea with Infinity REF6030CS and on the speaker it was mentioned "manufactured in vietnam". Can anybody confirm if infinity speakers are maufactured in vietnam ?
