| ![]() In a Baleno(not yet bought), what if I install just the Infinity Components in the front and JBL GTO 6" ones in the rear? No sub, no amp, a Sony/Pioneer HU. I do not want to play very loud. I would prefer more detailed sound at moderate volume. Would it be just a compromise with low freq without the sub? Or is that mid-bass drivers of components are not sufficient? Thanks |

| ![]() a chain is only as strong as the weakest link. i would strongly recommend an amp as not using one would strain the HU even at low volumes. let Sam know your budget and he will offer you the best solution. When it comes to that sort of advice Sam is about the best you can get. Trust him. I would. |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() Hi Observer, Infinity compos and JBL GTO in the back? I think thats a bad combination. Tell me what your favourite astists are, what kind of music you listen to. I strongly suggest the same branded speakers front and back. With a budget of 15 k you can get components, speakers and an amp. Forget the woofer for now. However in Infinity you wont get all 3 in that budget. I say go for JBL GTO506Ce - Rs 5500/- JBL GTO 636e - Rs 3950/- JBL CS 50.4 amp - Rs 9500/- If thats over budget, buy a sony amplifier. thats pretty good at that price. |

| ![]() Sony 504 Z for 3.9 k in gray market or 5k with bill and one year warranty. However it has very basic functionality. If you want the detailed specs let me know and I will post them. It doesnt have MOFSET out, has basic LPF HPF but not selectable frequency band, no thermometer or fan, no cut off at high temperature, so its the most basic 4 channel amp for the price band it comes for. If you have a freind in states etc, you can ask them to being a decent alpine amp for 200 dollars. |
