Ah! I thought you were going for the MT23 tweeter. But I think with the CDM88 midrange, you wouldn't require the low fs of the MT23. Or was it the impedance? MT22 are 4 ohm.

Yes, MT23 is out because impedance matching. Also i want to use the CDM 88 to atleast for 3 octaves starting at 700 Hz. Had i opted for MT23 + MX 22.2 Combo the XO starts at 1800 Hz, wasting the range of CDM 88.

Also got,
RF 0/1 Gauge Power and Ground Wires with main fuse block
RF 2 Farad Digital Hybrid Cap
RF Signal cables
RF Distribution Blocks
RF Speaker wires

Just waiting for the Ford Dash kit - to start install

wow! way to go! could you put up pics of the wires you've procured if possible? The above list looks complete wrt. to your wiring needs for this setup...But what about the power cables from the distributor blocks to the amps?

anyways, just cant wait to see your setup come to life?

cheers

Yeah, i also have a RF 4 gauge dual Amp kit + RF 8 gauge single amp kit - few meters from these will be used as connecting power and ground cables.

Here are the pics;

re: "In Pursuit of Happiness" - The Journey of a True Audiophile

So your 'pursuit of happiness' journey is still going on

Congrats on your Junior, Fiesta (looks superb), and your nerve wrecking, never ending ICE enthusiasm.

Sorry, just jumped into the last page here, when is the install planned and where is it. Hope you have set aside a hefty sum for the installation

Edit: Just browsed thru the previous pages. Did you apply for any ICE Loan?

I have a feeling that this calm period in this thread is like the silence before the storm! because a little birdy tells me that the final install pics and the initial sound experience will be up anytime soon on this thread.

@Mi10 - Do put up detailed WIP pics if possible.

cheers

Thanks, Senthil

I hope they have a separate product as ICE loans from Banks. Prob with minimal rate of interest, processing fees waived off :P

i am sure its one of a kind and something tbhp has never seen before, especially your "pseudo 3-way active" front stage. I am even expecting really aggressive placement of the midrange driver.

Just can't wait to see the pics dude.
Congrats on your dream which has finally seen the light of day.
cheers

re: "In Pursuit of Happiness" - The Journey of a True Audiophile

Song played: Hosanna from VTV
Effect on me: Goosebumps all over me, eyes ready to go moist.

Its not about equipments
Its not about money spent
Its no about place of install
Its not about the installer
nor its about the SQ

Its just one word - Passion. The Passion that kept me going for more than a year to achieve my dream setup...

...Now, as i sit back after the install, i dont care if the SQ is good or not. i dont care of the image is upfront or not, nor i do care if the sub goes low or loud.
For me, the whole thing coming to life is a dream. That dream has been achieved today. At the end of the day, there is no win or loss for passion. All it does is to make you feel a winner ! and here i am today, in front of you.

I really dont know if the setup lives upto the hype. But all i can say now is its nothing like i ve heard before. I wont brag anymore, Probably members here can give in thier views and comments after the audition. I still have to work around the Para EQs and then there is the TA and stuff.

The Pics wont be anytime soon, apologies for that. But will post it before Sat night.
