Illusion 6.1 refuses to slot in a SX4, what comps now?

I decided to replace the stock speakers on my SX4 with Illusion 6.1 components in the front and Illusion 62 coaxials in the rear.

Unfortunately, the largish magnet on the Illusions makes it impossible to fit them in the front door (The rod assy from the windows lies on the same side as the speaker slot) so the total width of the speakers is more than the gap between this rod and the panel... Thus even spacer rings won't work

The other choices I have now are Polk 6150 (they fit in as-is) and JBL GTO608 (havent tried, but should fit)..any other?
Am essentially looking for speakers that have a very clear mid-range

As for the rears, need 6"/6.5" coaxials that has decent bass (not quantity wise, but quality wise .. i.e. a beat from a bass drum should be distinguishable from the electronic beat from a synth and neither should sound dhup )
I know it's difficult to achieve from plain coaxials but still!
