Spark Iced

Greetings People,
Got my Blazing Red Spark LT ICED Last week

HU - Pioneer DEH 3250 UB ()
Front - JBL GT5-S204 (4" as Spark's Dash has slot for 4" )
Rear - JBL GTO 947 (Ovals 6'' x 9'' fitted on MDF tray , I did not want a separate subwoofer box)

Although a pretty simple setup but I was amazed with the results.Got quite a few thumbs up from people who sat in Sparky .
Still trying to figure out various HU settings. Will Post the Pics Soon

that is quite decent setup for the little cute sparky. Can you provide the cost of the HU and that if the same supports ipod ??

Also pics of your beauty would be great

Congrats!!Great choice of components!! Just one question, I think the parcel tray that comes with the LT is not very convenient for fitting 9X6 speakers as there is a tall ridge that comes in between. So what have you done about it?

Yes the Parcel tray was not convenient for fitting 9x6 so I got the aftermarket wooden MDF tray and have kept the original parcel tray in my room for decorational purposes .

Got my ICE done from R.D the Car Boutique , Kalyani Nagar. Found the guy pretty reliable and good with sufficient knowledge. Plus he opened up his shop for me specially on sunday(sunday is closed but he can open on special request)

Congrats thats a nice setup. If the sparks boot is small as say old zen then the bass from the 6x9 will be really good

@MotoMaveric and @Sai thanks
@MotoMaverick boot space as given by GM is 170 ltr, and yes the Bass is pretty good thats why I didn't opt for a separate woofer box, though I will put an amp next month

@SParkled - the little button as far as I have seen changes the treble level. If you happen to be in pune, could have an audio session in my sparky

Neat setup. I have a similar one in my Swift.
Make sure that the MDF is good enough. Mine has bend slightly due to the weight of my Polk db 690 6X9 and started to come from its position when the car goes through a pothole. It is slightly irritating.

Mithun , thanks for the pointer. Till now(11 days since ICE setup) the tray is holding its stand (had been through more than couple of potholes), seems to be of good quality but will be on the lookout.
