A tribute to my Alto's ICE, Team BHP and B&T

Guys, this post is one and half years too late. But, since that I am selling my Alto, as I am moving abroad, it would be very disrespectful and unfair not to thank the people involved and share my experience.

I was a noob when it came to audio but had a huge desire and appetite to learn. So I started reading this brilliant site called - Basic Car Audio Electronics (Basic Car Audio Electronics). Cleared a lot of my doubts but then the final Q came as to what to install. Luckily for me, I had a friend in Amit, dont remember his handle at Team-bhp, but he's the guy with the Accent and some awesome SPL woofers.

He introduced me to team-bhp and here began my quest for audio nirvana. After reading countless posts, I inferred that the best person to get in touch in the real world was Ajay Kamath aka B&T. A year before I got my system installed, I used to work with CNBC TV-18. I thought that it would be a brilliant opportunity to film the installation for their Tech Show. So after numerous phone calls with Ajay and the Tech Shows director we fixed a date. You can check the video here.

My budget wasn't too high and I was very much interested in SQ. This is what Ajay recommended and was installed in the car. The prices are one and a half year old.

Pioneer 5500 -- HU ---Rs. 7000
Illusion Audio EL 6.1 ---Rs. 7000
Ground Zero GZTA 4.120MK2, 4 channel Amp --- Rs. 11,000
Ground Zero GZTW 12MK2 Sub -- 5500
Ground Zero GZPK 10 -- Amp wiring kit --Rs. 3000
Ichibahn ISTS20 -- RCA -- Rs. 900
Illusion Audio RSC16.50 Speaker Cables (2 packs)-- Rs. 1050 x 2 = Rs. 2100
12" custom-made Sub Enclosure: Rs. 1200
Door Rings: Rs. 400
Noise Kill 48 Sq. feet: Rs. 7200
Antenna: Rs. 300
------------------
Total Rs. 46,500
------------------

My experience: I have simply loved it !!..The SQ is amazing and driving the car from a chore in Mumbai traffic became a pleasure.

I sincerely thank team-bhp, Ajay Kamath and Amit for extending their support and sharing their knowledge and experience.

Thats quite thoughtful.

Amit uses Digital Designs subs in his car, earlier he was running a pair of JBLs. His handle is amit_sound and he's a amid SPL lover.. I think he'd already removed the rear seat of his car and installed couple of more subs.

@Ragin_Ice - wish you the best.
I noticed that you have not installed front power windows and have installed EL6.1 (basically 6" speakers). Did you have any trouble while winding up/down the front windows.
