no i mentioned inmy 1st post that i used M-Seal to give it a rock hard hold from back. putty is used to give is a smooth finish on the front.

Yes, i will be using 8650's AUX. but this time the pioneer 8650 will be split into 2 parts. fornt panel (which is removeable) will be installed near the cup holder just below the AC knobs and rest of the body will be going under the driver seat.

i use this idea because i dont want to cut my panels of my car anymore.
And more over 8650 is ready for experiments as it already 5 yrs old now.
this split thing is sucessfully running in my friend's swift for last 2 years so i am not afraid of doing it on my 8650.

i shall post the split pics soon, as i have given it for a split to someone and he promised me to complete it by monday.

Oops! My bad
I tried M-Seal for mounting my monitor too but that dint really help so just for the sake of safety, Try mounting it with the help of screws if possible. This may need some retro fitting as well. ( just a suggestion)

there may be something worng in your m-seal process. the way i have secured it, its really rock hard. it wont move even punch it. if i want to remove it from there now i have cut it from the panel.

WOW! Looks completely OE.
When are you plugging in your CPU and other accessories?
If possible, Post some day time pics of the monitor and its console.
