My ICE in Swift Dzire

A very humble setup
Did not want to spend more than 20k
No real amp, a budget sub and a budget indian alpine HU
I like it, sounds good to me..

I ll be changing the car soon and then ill go for a good ICe like the frankmehta's fiesta

One query to Gurus..
The ovals are a bit bright and bass is not its forte..
How can I improve? What replacement of the rear ovals do u suggest. Icant go above 8k..

I can see a Alpine HU,Bull Audio compos up front,Bull Audio ovals on the rear shelf, and a Sony amp to support a sub(or bass tube?).

I am not too sure but are the RCA cables standard stuff?

Please describe the components of your set up with price break up

Congratulations on your new ICE.

One question though why didn't go in for the dash kit directly from Maruti instead of going in for an aftermarket one??

I got the same for around Rs 200/- from MASS for my SX4.

Which dealer? What costed you 1500Rs? And which HU is that? 9870?

What is overpowering at the rear?

Popular Kochi.. They didnot have the dash adapter.
And I did not want a sony HU from the dealer.

Bought the dash adapter and ice from Emperor, Kochi
That is an Alpine CDE-101 E. not the 9887, The prices were steep and not very negotiable. Still I wanted the basic ICE from them, but the perfomance was not satisfactory from the bull ovals.

The amp and the sub were done by one of my unprofessional friends.

The rears and the components are not powered by amp, driven by the HU.
The sad part is the pio 500W speakers in my wagon r sounds better than bull ovals. I want to change them.

The lack of 2 preouts in the HU really disappointed me. I came to know it only after i bought the HU.. I moved to Calicut and there are no good places here for a replacement of HU and a new amp.
