As I have to run 35sqmm wire through firewall, What could be the good way to seal the opening.Earlier it was blocked with a rubber seal.
There are good chances of water entering the comaprment and even worse, the engine noise.
Photos please! There are rubber seals available with necessary sized holes to run tube/wires through.
Water & engine noise are still acceptable, while the toxic gases like carbon-monoxide (CO) is not! So get it done asap.
Pardon my ignorance!
Did'nt know there is a firewall under the hood! Where exactly it is located and what does it do?

Where is the rubber now ? Any pics of wiring going through the firewall ?

Use a silicone sealant (the black stuff that's used to stick windscreens on), and let it set after squeezing it around the hole and the wire. No more water, no more noise/smoke/heat/dust.

Not under the hood, it's between the engine and the driver/passengers. It's the metal panel between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment. In a front-engine car, it is located just ahead of the driver's and front passenger's feet. In a rear-engine car it is located behind the rearmost seat backs. Its purpose is to prevent an engine fire from injuring the occupants, and that's why it's called a "firewall".
The red line is the firewall.

Will click some pics in morning. @abhibh more or less it's just like the pic you have posted. only difference is that, I ran wire from a side without drilling a hole in rubber seal. In the pic posted by you, it looks like, there is hole in rubber seal.
@SS Thanks for advice, any idea from where it can be sourced?Hardware stores?

Any auto parts store would have it. Or shops that stock automotive windscreens and glass.

Thats a wrong way to route the wire. You should have drilled the hole and routed it from there.
You can get the Silicon sealant at any good hardware shop located in Chandigarh or Mohali. Below is the picture of the Silicon Sealant tube (costs around 100 bucks). I have used it to seal water leakages in my car and it has been 2 years now and no more water seeping in my car :D
I am worried about the damage to other wire routed through the seal,I shall route the wire after drilling the hole in the rubber seal, later on fix it with silicone sealant.
Hope drilling a hole in the seal is ok!
