Mclaren i got Blau spec from blau website.
I dont understand all this technical stuff. As i said, i might be wrong in judging the amps.

But navin, said that check the RMS rating at 4 ohms and not at 2 ohms.
Pioneer f6100 is: Continous Power (4 ohms) 60 x 4
Blau GTA 470 IS: 70 X 4 rms (4 ohms)

Since i would be connection my rear speakers and the subwoofer to the 4 channel amp, i guess i would have to go for a into 4 i.e( 70/60 x 4) type of setup.
Regarding RMS blau seems to be better.

Navin also said, to check the frequency response and the distortion factor. Well i did my job and got the mentiond two spec also. But i am unable to understand and compare these two specs (frequency response and distortion factor) of pionner and blau. As i said, i am still just a kid in car audio!!
Try to help me out by clearing my doubts.
Sorry for troubling guru log!

sorry lol missed that point among all that messy stuff and smilies..ya the rms of the blau seems to be better...but i too had made an enquiry regarding these amps and decided to go in for the alpine mrv-f450 5 channel amp in the end..and among the rest i remember atleast two of the gurus voting for the pioneer over the blaupunkt on overall build quality, performance, and other stuff..blaupunkt seems to give good service whereas the pioneers arent even selling officially..so its ur choice take a pick..if ur still confused read the thread named "statuatory warning : 10 risks to know before u enter this forum " for further details..
PS: sorry guys couldnt keep that one out..

amit, the Pio is probably the better amp. Dont worry abotu the 10 W difference. Blau offers better service. Pio are not sold with Bill and Warranty but they do have service centers and advertise heavily in India.

This strategy is like tellig indians that "while we appreciate your business we will not warranty our products because we can then make more money on service that should have been under warranty". That said Pios are also quite reliable.

Are you the kind of guy who needs insurance/ assurance? If so get the Blaupunkt. If you like to take a chance (a small chance) get the Pio.

Amit an amplifier is not judged going plainly by the RMS figures (just like cars are not judged by top speed). Sony 504 that comes for 3.5 k has comparable RMS to JBL CS 50.4 or Blaupunkt GTA 470, but do you think they will produce the same quality sound? Do you think they will have the same build quality? will they have similar heat sinks? NO!
Similarly, although Blaupunkt amp has more RMS but the build quality of the Pioneer amp, and the sound of the Pioneer amp blows the Blaupunkt away.

I am convinced with with aseem and navin.
Thanks,
Ok now the next job for guru log is to tell me which subwofer should i go for with the pionner amp.
Is pioneer 944, better than pioneer 6100F?
The price of pio 944 is about Rs 12500 app.
Remember ii have a budget of 25k, in which i have to buy a HU, subwoofer, and a pionner amp.

So kindly suggest now.
Sorry for popping all the question!!
Jai ho guruji log ki!!!

25K. get a HU for 12K. spend 5-6K on the sub and 5-6K on the amp. hope you already for the front and rear speakers.

yes, i have front and rear speakers.

How is this pionner 1000 W DVC sub?

Suggest me what is better.
1. Pio 6100F with some 5-6k costing sub. (Total: sub +amp = 13k app)
2. Pio 944 with pio (1000W) DVC sub (Rs3500) (Total sub+amp = 15500 app)
3. Or make a good combination of sub + amp costing 15 k at max.

I want to spend 8k to 9k on the HU. 12k for HU seems expensive.

If you are refering to Pioneer 306 DVC, than please refrain from it. The pioneer Dual Voice Coil sub is stable at 8 ohms, so you need an amp with greater power to drive it. Since Pioneer 6100F is giving only 150 Watts in bridged, you wont be able to drive the Pioneer 306DVC. You will be better of with going with a single voice coil subwoofer.
The Pioneer 6100F is for 7k. So that leaves you the rest of the money in your budget to get a good box, wires, and sub!
