Hi Monty,

Awesome! From conceptualization to realization. Just brilliant.

What happens to your spare wheel? Would you still be able to access it or did you chose to remove it?

Another option for the subwoofer enclosure could have been plexi glass enclosure flush mounted on the side which would liberate more space in the boot. But nevertheless a great job!

I love this HU since the day i bought it. Its now about 5 yrs now I guess.
Its doing its job really well.
Oh yeah! this HU and 9650 are the best combination of being fancy and sound quality (IMO).

this might sound like a very very lame question.
Is it possible to put an aux port on the 8650 without buying the additional aux connector/ ipod connector?

Wow, awesome setup..but 16k for wiring ? Did you really need that Rockford Fosgate kit ? From what I've heard, any wire, as long as it has sufficient amount of copper will do.

So you play your music with your head unit, carputer, or both ? If both, how did you manage to sync them ?

Yes the cabling matters a lot. And this kit is dual amp kit with 2 power distribution blocks, which costs about 2k each if you buy seperate.

Gunbir sir gave me a demo of both the Rockford RCA and Chords RCA on the same setup and the rockford was missing something in the treble part.

I am playing my music like this.. CarPC -> HU-> Amps.
Using the Aux input of my HU from the output of the carpc.

This why I can use my HU'cd player and my CarPC anytime by pressing the source button.

Here is an little update.

I manage to get the OEM tweeter pods from the dealer and installed the tweeters in them by little modification. These costed be Rs.1140 for both L & R (atleast Honda has something cheaper)

And actually the Left one was little expensive than the Right one, dont know why.

Now the tweeters are where they should be. And my dash is clear.
