Finally the answer I was looking for. Do you have the data on what the SPL was at 20Hz? 150db or for that matter 120db at 20Hz will make quite a sensation.

ALso LBM where was the mic kept in relation to the woofers? I am just trying to get a handle on what the measurement processes are for car audio with respect to home audio and pro audio.

Were the subs band-pass or bass-reflex?

@all: I got my Sub today. Courtesy LBM Bhai. That was a big relief..Auditioned his HU also and found it great. Great Neutral Sound

congrats on your problems being solved.

But isn't buying a second hand products be it from tbhp classifieds or anywhere for that is a gamble. and blaming the company is sheer childishness.
