review of Pio 12" sub

hey navin
earlier pioneer used to make seperate subs for free air and for enclosed.do they do that any more or can any sub be used for either.and whats the price of this.

The sub models suffix -c is for a sealed box and the -f is for free air. so teh 304-c is a sealed box sub and the 304-f is a free air sub.

ok navin thanx a lot so they still do make different subs.do all companies do that or is it only pioneer who make seperate subs depending on the type of enclosure.

Few companies do so. BTW I have not heard the Pio subs at length. These links are only there because these subs seem to be very popular in India. Pio does not make bad products but their disregard for the indian consumer (marketing strategy) bugs me.
