See vivek its your choice...you take risk you get much better product...you dun take risk you get less better (little) product.

If amplifier works once it works forever if you use it nicely with correct installation and load.

Take the risk Pal. I think its worth it because i will also be looking at buying one in a few months time and ur Alpine would have clocked atleast a couple of Hundred Hrs and your feedback would be helpful

Honestly, if the price difference is a steal, you should go for it. After all they are not selling factory seconds.

GO FOR IT..

Ok. I just bought a Pioneer GM-6100F amp. Hooray! Yay! Wohoooo! Rs. 7500. This way, I still have money left for buying a subwoofer. Now, I need to start the installation. McLaren accompanied me. A million thanks to Deepak Asrani and JB for their help in putting me on to the right people.

Thank you. The deed is done as McLaren put it. Now, the experts please give me the dos and donts of installation. I plan to get a Sony cable kit since I am in no position to get the expensive stuff now.

Vivek, you shoudl be ashamed of yourself. a DIYer who cant DIY cables! Power cables can be DIYed using 8 SWG or 4 SWG wire and some spade connectors from MX. For speaker cables just interlock 3 sets of belden cable (like women platt their hair). Ok RCA requires a soldering rod but using nice wire (belden) you can do that too.

Will just 4 SWG electrical cable do for the +12V and ground? And I suppose I need to use a 60A fuse in the +12V rail.
