that looks like a pair of 6x9 and a pair of 4" components in the rear unless you are using 6x9 grills over 6.5" cones. the 75.4 amp on the left drives the subs the 75.4 amp on the right drives front and rear and the head unit is an older alpine with a CHS634 changer. the car is an 2002-2003 ambiente Tdi with some infinity graphics on the sides. whoever used it last left the left front door open so obviously this car was at a show and not on the road.

BTW why is the tweeter in front of the woofer instead of behind as in most installs. i know one reason but i want to know yours.

I guess you are using 6010 in the front.

:-)

NAHEE! WRONG WRONG WRONG!

Didnt look closely enough Old Block. The 6X9 is a 6X9 infinity woofer only. It's a kappa 1.5cs 3 way compo. 6X9 woofer, 4" mid and tweeter.

The 2 amps inside are 300.4 and 1100.1. The 300.4 drives the speakers and the 1100.1 drives the kappa subs.
The HU is a new one. 9833 or something.

The car is a 2.0 Petrol.

Whats the reason you would put the tweeter in the front?

The 9833 is old. the new version is the 9855.

the 1.5cs has been replaced with the 1.7cs (I have memorised the infinoity catalog) and that uses a 6.5" woofer. I was thinking of using this for the rear in my Skoda and Sail but wonder where to fit the woofers. BTW what do they cost in India.

in this skoda the tweeters are in the front. now if we look at the construction of a tweeter vis a vis a woofer you will notice that the voicecoil of the woofer is about 1.5" behind. By putting the tweeter behind the woofer you time align the woofer with the tweeter. with the tweeter in the front the high freq will reach the listener before the lows. with the tweetre behind teh woofer (from the listeners point of view) both sets of frequencies will arrive closer together.

so you got a 330.4 and 1100.1
