Scorpio ICE help: Locations in the rear

As the title says, am helping a friend ICE his scorpio. getting a kenwood HU + hertz components in front.

Killer question is, what size speakers for the rear, and where?

was thinking about replacing the rear pad with an MDF one and installing ovals, but it turns out it has a door handle in it. so I'm not sure which route to take...

my friend wants a space saver install, and doesnt want to use boxes

Getting the door handle done over the MDF board isn't all that difficult. I will get a pic from mine tomorrow.

About the speakers. I got GTO 938C in mine.

Anytime bro,I have tied the 6 x 9" coaxials at the 5th door but to be precise it only sounds "dabba effect" lolz!!! would suggest if you just use 2 pairs of comps and a single sub in the car it will rock.Have a look at the rest placements due to lack of space in the car.

sub is currently out of budget, hence the reason for selecting 6x9's. we're looking at a basic (sub 20K) install

plus there is a door handle in the rear pad, thats what has me confused. i dont recall seeing one there

This thread is like a lifr saver for me.
I was just wondering,as to where to put the rear speakers?
since its a new Car,i wouldnt prefer any cutting of panels and all.
so what makes more sense?
Speakers in Boxes?
Where are the rear speakers in a Scorpio VLX?

I got a mdf board installed with the 6x9's in them and the door handle isn't that great of an issue. Take it to the right place and he should be able to do the job.

I was thinking about staring a thred in same lines - I am helping my friend to ICE his Scorp. we have decided on HU - Clarion VZ300, and now deciding on front components and rear co-axials, and we are really confused about how to put the rear co-axials. Will be watching this space real close.
Thanks @greenhorn for staring this one
