Price of ALPINE ICE - is it ok.

A friend of mine has bought Chevy BEAT second variant and is planning on a Decent ICE. He has short listed on :
ALPINE CDE-100EUB (frt AUX & USB) : Rs 8000
MTX XT693 6" X 9" 3 way speaker 320W : Rs 4000

Just wanted to know is this in the correct price bracket ?

The Alpine HU could go cheaper.
Much cheaper.
Say 6.5k last I heard. That was again a while back.

No idea about the Ovals.
