iPod to Audio system connector

Hi All,

My friend was telling me about a connector to which you can connect your iPod and set a frequency and same frequency can be played on your car's audio system. So I wanted help on:

1) Which brands are available for this?

2) Is it available in India/Bangalore?

3) Approx cost for the same

4) Is it worthwhile?

5) Does it need an aux in the audio system?

Mods hope this is the right forum

Tried it !

The device exists, you can buy an expensive Belkin one or cheap Chinese versions. Let me warn you, its useless. Too much radio disturbance and you need to keep moving the device to find the right signal strength vis-a-vis the radio antenna in your car which can be at the read end of your car !!
I wouldnt recommend it. If you have an auxiliary input in your car, a wired device is your best bet.

You can read the whole thread to know more about this. In summary, this is a cheaper version of FM transmitter and works very well. Except for the sound clarity. But I don't thin its too bad.
