sorry to disappoint you, gunbir, but even if you do, we mods do not tolerate racial or communal remarks of any kind.

As many of you pointed out, our Swift Zxi is finally here, need to pick it up this week. May be I could use some of these in Swift to upgrade the audio systems comes with Zxi. Please suggest what to use where.

navin #5:
How much MRV-F450 would cost? Where is the best place to buy? Hopefully I could swap MRP-M350 and just pay the difference. I couldn't find the right match from Alpine for front at that time, so I just went with dual Pioneer for front.

mclaren1885 #6:
I will give Thouqeer a call today and find out his solution, I am hoping to get 6'' modded. I just checked-out Sams Surprise thread - will remember for long time :-). I bought my both Baleno and Swift from Sagar automobiles. Long back I was suggested to get 10'' instead of 12'' sub.

jkdas #7:
Yes, I have a box which will hold a pair of 10'' subs. Need to find out what works better for Baleno.

mclaren1885:
Yes, I plan to get it done from Thouqeer. I will post his proposal and pics. after the job is done.

Samurai #9:
Thanks again. This makes it very easy.

Now, Audio => Dialup => Get a life or GF => TBHP is better than a girl .... Now I know why I am still a Newbie and most of you are BHPian/Senior-BHPian :-).

Folks:

I just spoke to Thouqeer over the phone and this is what he has proposed. Please share your feedback/suggestions, the execution will happen on Monday.

Alpine CDA-9847 MP3/CD Player: Baleno
Alpine SPR-17LS 300W 6.5' speaker set: Baleno
Pioneer TS-A1681R 260W 6.5' speaker set: Swift
Alpine SWE-1042 Type E 10' subwoofer set: Baleno
Alpine MRP-M350 Mono Power amplifier: Baleno for Subs
Q-Logic Dual Subwoofer box: Baleno

In addition to this:
- Buy JBL 6x9 set for rare? Rs.9k? Any specific model?
- Buy 4 channel Amp to drive speakers from JBL? Model? Cost?

What do you fellows suggest? Looks like I have to spend around Rs. 15K more for audio.

the 450 costs about 25-26K. I would suggest an upgrade for those Pio speakers. use them as rear speakers in any car but i would prefer nicer speakers for the front.

i too would suggest the same..the alpine 450 amp costs in the range of 25-26k grey in bangalore..so what u can do is keep ur pioneer 6.5'' speakers in ur baleno only use them at the rear as just fillers so it shouldnt bother u with spending more.. wow now why would u want to be adding a 6x9 when ur going to put in a sub in the baleno anyway..keep the 6x9 model mumber GTO 936e at 4k out and stick to the pioneer speakers that u already have..spend that money on getting a good 4 ch amp and ur done..preferably alpine or else u can go for the JBL GTO 75.4 at 16k..
PS: not sure but i think u mentioned that the pio speakers were to be used in the front, but the alpine speakers being component speakers ought to be in the front not at the back..the pios though gotto be at the back..
