HU +
4 Channel Amps powering the compos in front
pair of 6x9 for rear.

Is that OK ?

hey krish,
try the radio warehouse guys. i went to their shop at anna nagar, from the round tana, go towards VST motors, take the left just after VST and u get the shop on the right side of the road. one mr.govindarajan is the person. he sounded a bit knowledgeable to me. try him out. they have got most of the stuff there.
and BTW going in for compos in your budget would not be possible. for around 15K, it would be adviceable to put in coaxials all around and go in for another sub. make sure you go in for a good HU. blaup or alpine would be the best.

what is the max speaker size that can be fitted into your accents front, check it out. if you have provision for tweeters upfront, then compos on the doors are good enough, but for most other cases its like 4 speaker setup. i would advice you to go in for coaxials all around.
my 2 cents, but the gurus may advice otherwise..

you forgot to mention a budget and car. here on the ICE forum we love spending other people's money and without these 2 parameters to guide us...he he he...

accent. means 5" comps. 6x9 rear ok.

HU: 8K (Pio or sony)
Amp: 4K (sony 504)
Comps: 4K (JBL 506)
Rear: 4k (JBL 936)

total 20K. brand in paranthesis for example only. you can replace this with brand of choice. Only other brand i kow and can recommend in this price range is Blau.

if you got a bigger budget drop the 6x9 in favour of 6" coax, 2/1 channel amp and sub.

if you got still bigger budget upgrade front comps and rear coax to Alpine, Infinity, or Hertz (based on Mclaren's expereince)

if you got no budget talk to JB (Autophile) or Sam they will help you! Sam with this Crown amps and Autophile with his Tru. :-) sorry guys could not resist.

I have kind of decided to go with Blaupunkt all around.

HU : Blaupunkt Bahamas MP34 : 9.5K
Blaupunkt ODX-172 speakers front and rear : 9K
And may be a separator - 3K

Has anyone tried the ODX speakers from Blaupunkt ?

ODX? is that the overdrive speakers u are talkin about dude.They are very compact speakers... i have overdrive speakers in the front and velocity in the back..overdrive speakers are ok, Blaupunkt is known for its clarity,Clarity is excellent but dont expect it to pump bass like pioneer or sony..U'll just love its Sound..I dont advice u to fit blaupunkt if u love bass..This is from my experience guys..
