Alpine KCE-300BT or KCE-400BT ?

Dear BHPians,

I planning to add on a Bluetooth Interface to my Alpine CDA-9887 which has I-Pod connected through KCE-422i.Now in dilema between KCE-300BT & KCE-400BT.Guys,kindly guide me which one to opt for?

I have heard not so good reviews about the 300BT. Infact it was one product which was aimed at spoiling the reputation Alpine has built worldwide. It had all types of problems and its currently discontinued.

But for KCE-400BT i have to buy new set of 2 cables which alone cost 3000/-(approx) means my current KCE-422i will be a scrap.Really its a costly upgrade,Better use my current Nokia Bluetooth headset.Anyway Thanks for your valuable input anachronix.
