Integrate ICE with Map my India and Reverse camera ?

I have a Tata Sierra which has enough space to put in the works. Am starting from scratch. Currently there is not even a tweeter in place.

Few things to factor in:

- There is a lot of external and engine noise. Don’t think I can do too much about it. High quality speaker sound may be lost in the Tata Sierra
- I will put in a reverse camera with a screen
- I will put in ‘Map my India’ as well.
- Total budget for all the above is approx 40k

1) Is there any way to integrate Reverse camera with Map my India AND the ICE ?

2) Can the Map My India screen be used for the Reverse Camera or do I need to put in a separate screen in place of the rear view mirror?

3) Can the Map My India screen be used for the Video Out of the ICE ?

4) What would the Budget breakup be ?

Open for suggestions on the best combination possible and if I need to rework the budget

I think you are almost talking about a carputer project. Should be able to integrate ice+gps+camera and visuals over a decent touch screen. Run one of those carputer UI's for windows. There are a lot of threads that discuss this as a DIY in great detail. Best of luck.

buy one of these
DealExtreme: $163.67 7.0" Touchscreen 400MHz CPU Windows CE 5.0 GPS Navigator w/ Bluetooth Handsfree + 2GB Maps SD
the Mapmyindia stuff is of similar quality, so dont worry about buying chinese

this has a video input ( as does the MMI). just plug the camera into it

you do not need a separate screen for ICE. use this as your video player ( it runs WM6)

your budget just got a lot smaller

Thanks.

Greenhorn, I have been tracking this product for the past month. It is still out of stock.

Any other product reccomendations ? I got friends coming in from HK/Singpore and can get it imported.
