Congrats Vikram,

Absolutely superb stuff!! Very neat install too. Was hoping you would install 6X9 coaxials at the rear but noticed that you have gone in for 6X9 3-way speakers. I am sure its a huge difference in sound from your previous setup; actually I'm sure one can't even compare the two. Are you happy with the bass? Any particular reason why you changed from the Ground Zero to Illusions? You also haven't mentioned what head unit you are using?

Hi Epic...My HU is actually mentioned in the title of this thread :-)
Pioneer DEHp-5950 IB
My speakers are 3way coax (is there is difference between coax and 3 way ?
yes difference in sound is huge
I dont have earth shaking bass but i understand that the speakers need to break in over 80-90 playing hours (as told by the installer)..besides the bass is sufficient and kept me happy for a week so far..

My reason to change from GZ to Illusion was the depth in bass, i tried both the carbon and the normal series but the illusion quality was miles ahead. crispness was better...so went for them...also, i am a sucker for single brand installations and now my entire speakers wardrobe is illusion which i absolutely love!
