you could get an alpine head unit with good 6 inch component speakers in the front and co axial speakers for the rear.a four channel amp to power your speakers.for you bass needs you could get a sub either a 12 incher or a 15 incher depending on the car your going to be installing it in.and to power the sub you ll need a two channel or a monoblock amp. you could place the sub in a sealed.ported box in the boot.

the audio experts will be able to help you further.

seems you probably have a 1.6

maby , you can go for a pioneer DVH-P5650MP/ DVH-P5850MP, its a single din HU that can play dvds.

or a pioneer AVH-P6650DVD , it has a 6.5 inch touch screen.

do post pics , whatever you get done.

fast? are you serious?

my wife drives a sail and yes it handles potholes well but fast it is not.
basic system.
1. Alpine CD player model 9847 - Rs. 10K?
2. 6" components in the front (JBL, Alpine, Infinity, etc...) Rs. 5-8K?
3. 4" coax in the rear same brand as the front speaker. I dont know of any 4" component speaker currently available. Rs. 2.5K?
4. 12" bass tube in trunk Rs. 6.5K?
5. Alpine 240 amp for front and rear. Sony 502 amp bridged for sub Rs. 10K?
6. RCA wires, speaker wires and power cable R.s 3K.
7. Labour 1K.

total: 10+5+2.5+6.5+10+3+1 = 38-41K.

if your budget includes more upgrade the Tapedeck to the 9853 or 9855 or add the KCA420 Ipod cable so youcan use an Ipod.

Just found out that the 9847 is 15K. the 9826 is still available at 12K the alpine 240 is 11K. the sony 502 is 4K.

for 50k I'd do this...

Alpine 9847 - 15K
JBL comps in the front - 4K
JBL coax in the rear - 2.5K
Bass tube - 6.5K
Pioneer 6100 or Blau 470/480 - 8.5k
RCA wire - 1.5K
Speaker wire - 1K
Labour - 1K
-----------
40K

upgrade - Alpine 9847 to 9851 - 7K
add Sony 502 and upgrade Pio/Blau amp to Alpine 240 - 4k and 2.5K respetively
upgrade wires to JBL kit - 3K

--------------------
there you have it as usual we overspent - 56.5K and counting. :-)
