Hi DPK,

Just check for JBL CS1215 1200 watts sub-woofer. Should satisfy your music genres needs.

@dpkanj
Try to audition the Bull Audio subwoofer. From what I've heard from friends, it's a nice VFM sub. Should be around 4-5k. A good MDF sealed box will cost you around 1.2k.

You could also look at the Infinity reference sub should be for around 4.5k +/-
It's a great a sub for the price can play loud and deep. Downside it needs a bigger enclosure size close to 1.25 cu.ft.

Pioneer

I don't know how pioneer subs stand as I havent heard of them , but this(http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/Subwoofers/Champion/TS-W1208D2|D4) seems to be a good sub and one team bhp member is powering it with the M845 in his setup, i think his handle is blackfire_9 contact him to know his experience.

Street price , About 3.5k with bill.

Its a dual voice coil so future upgrade by powering it through a good mono amp wont be a problem.

Audition it along with other subs.

For the enclosure: 1.25 cu.ft for SQL purpose,
