Mid Range in A/C Side vents ?

Has anyone tried mounting a 3.5" midrange speakers in the side A/C Vents of a car ?

My Mid range seems to fit in plush, like a OEM fit.

Just want to know, if this can be done. Probably routing the Air through main vents alone. Is it feasible ?

Attached the pic for reference

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Where will the tweeter go? above the midrange?

The AC balst will get diverted to the center but you wont get an even spread of airconditioning. Why not try the aircon out by closing the vents first?

Can please confirm that you want to install it inside (or is it beside?) the AC vent tube on the either side of your car?

By the way which car is it?

Yes, it is feasible but I recommend opening the panel covering the AC vent and covering the AC tube with some sort of a sheet (direct blast of the AC on the speaker could damage it over it time, why to take a risk). The AC vent fins (as shown in the picture) can be easily removed from the panels and the speaker can be fitted inside (I recommend testing this first before opening the panel to see if the speaker fits snugly inside the AC vent).

Cheers
