How to order mp3 files in USB Drive to play in car stereo.

I have this issue with the play order of music files in the USB drive, on our Pioneer car stereo. Even with renaming it with numbers the order seems jumbled and of no particular pattern.

Could someone throw some light on how to make it play in the order one desires? Please advise.

For pioneers, it plays according to the order that the files are copied into the pendrive. The Sony HUs I've seen and experienced always play by alphabets.
