Fun sounding is a signature where it has slight punchy bass (no bottom end) not boom type and higher highs(no cymbals, No sparkle). Mids are recessed. Sound separation and resolution is not the criteria. Everyone will like the sound but its not perfect sounding. |
To be frank, its very tough to classfiy drivers like that. A lot of things need to be considered. The Sound is altered upon right from the HU>>PreAmp>>Amp>> Speakers. So your Analytical sound or Fun Sounding is an attribute of the Whole set of equipments and their Tuning. How many of us run EQ on flat ??
But if you want a straight answer to question; The Midbass is Analytical sounding and the Tweeters a nice mix of Analytical + Fun. Atleast thats how i heared them
A-ha! Not sure I have understood (your description was definitely 'analytical' as you put it). The puzzling thing from your passage is how can anything lacking almost everything (no bottom end, recessed mid, suppressed highs; that strangely sounds like anorexic models) be fun!!! And I am not even an audiophile by any standards. :p

That's quite true for the Maximos. The midrange is very accurate and overall very smooth. The treble is slightly on the thin side with some frequencies giving it a sweet sound.
that is one killer damping ...
i just missed to hear that car on the last meet :(
Hi, Can you please PM me the name and address of the installer who did this ICE setup and from where did you source the Components and other things as i am not able to find anything in Chandigarh for my swift. Please let me know the prices also.
How much u spend on damping??
Thanks
@bikham
