I don't remember Car Cares offering any specific alloy care procedure, but I'm sure Jeremiah won't mind taking a look at your alloys.
Contact them on fb if you like or just drive down and show it to them in person.
I'm sure they will be happy to let you know what can or can't be done.

Just got my car polished and waxed by Mr, Car Cares. These guys are just amazing. They only have a door-step service as of now and the job was brilliant. Took 2.5 hours to get the job done and the attention to detail was impressive.

Made sure that I called them only when the car was in an absolutely dirty state to see how good they are.

Things I liked:
** Very punctual (I appreciate punctuality).
** Very courteous, explain what they are doing, answer all your questions patiently.
** Give a lot of attention to detail.

Things I didn't:
** Their wax(Meguiars) had developed some liquid residue which they had to keep removing every so often. I'm not sure if that makes a big difference to the end result, but it worried me.


One more thing which really left me pleased was the fact that they are not those kind of people who do just what they are paid for. They go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. For example, when painting my house, a lot of tiny little paint drops had fallen on the car, especially on the bumper part. They spent close to 45 minutes to take it all off, even though it was not their job to do so.

Tried CAR CARes based on your reviews. Must say, they did a wonderful job on cleaning the car. I opted to go for the following,

1. Meguiar's wash & wax (Rs. 1300)
2. Surface treatment (add on) (Rs. 700)
3. Meguiar's interior care (Rs. 700)

All the prices above were for the C200 without the 12.36% tax. The guys there were very kind and explained all their services BUT didn't pressurize on taking a particular service which I felt was very nice of them. The car was first water and foam washed, then polished. Attention to detail was very good but had a point out a few area's which they missed. Didn't take any pictures though . I was completely satisfied with the quality of their work and would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

My 9 month old Vento went for its first professional cleaning at CAR CARes, Kottivakkam, Chennai.

My impressions - Very good.

I called them Friday 22-Aug and asked for an appointment Saturday 23-Aug. Happy to receive the morning slot at 11:30 AM.
Did not have much difficulty locating them and arrived around 11:00 AM.

A warm greeting and a nice clean-up of the car. I had opted for:

Meguiar's wash and wax
Surface Treatment

Interiors were clean and did not opt for any special cleaning.

End of the cleaning I noticed a small spot on the car roof, which was slightly 'rough'. It was the effect of bird droppings, which I neglected for a week and that had 'eaten' its way into the paint.

Nevertheless, the work of CAR CARes is great and I definitely recommend.

Ginathom - They are different. 3M is in Thoraipakkam and the other is in Kottivakkam - though you can say they are neighbor districts!

However, the names confuse people.

Being a frequent customer of Car Cares, the owner, Mr.Jeremiah told me a few months ago that he'd be starting car accessories division. He just recently started it and it coincided with the delivery of my new POLO GT TSI. So, I sent it over to him to spruce it up a bit. A few pics:-

1. Gloss CF for the roof & pillars.





2. New Number plates and blacked out GT & TSI badge with a peelable paint so I can go back to chrome if I ever want to.


3. Had the seats changed to a custom design:-

4. Had the alloys powder-coated to matte grey:


In the end, this is how the POLO looks:-



There was a current-gen Mercedes GL350 getting wrapped & an EVO X getting it's alloys painted too:-


All in all, a very good job carried out by Mr. Jeremiah and his team at Car Cares.

BraveArc, Thanks for sharing, glad to know they began accessories as well. I have used their detailing services and is pretty much impressed. I see that that were successful in bringing their work precision on to the accessories and modifications as well, just like the car detailing they do.

Did you choose not to do the door trims and gear boot cover along with the seats or Car Cares do not provide that service?

Mr. Jeremiah asked me if I wanted to do the door trims as well, but the car being brand new, didn't want them to pull out the door panel so chose not to do it. I'm unsure of the gear cover. But I presume they do that too.

The roof came to 4k and the alloys painting was a little less than 12k. Worth every penny.

Right...So it was just another lazy Sunday for me. Wake up, waste time, hate Sundays because the next day is going to be a Monday...you know the drill.

So that's when I thought I should get the car washed. It's been a month. So took the car over to Car Cares, and boy was I in for a surprise!

Guess what had turned up for a wash? A Hypercar! The Mad Orange Bull! The Aventador!















Met the owner and had a few words with him. Nice chap, very down to earth
