I have opted for Yearly maintenance package that costs around 20k ( it includes 4 (2 interior/ 2 exterior) plans + 6 Free wash coupons can be availed around the year. If i pay as individual jobs, it will cost around ( Rs.5500 + tax for Exterior program and Rs. 3500+ tax for Interior program).

3M paint sealant package covers the swirl removal, and it costs Rs.5500 + tax and they have 3 types of Interior cleaning packages staring from basic to Advanced(A/c and microbial disinfect) Rs.2000 to Rs. 3500 (taxes extra).

Since Laura comes under the Large segment the packages seems costlier.

Took my 1 month old scorpio for the underbody anti rust treatment at 3M car care at Santhome. Really liked the way they worked on the car. Things that I liked

1. Very professional
2. Good waiting lounge
3. Only 3M products
4. Quality of work
5. Understands the requirement and provides the necessary options
6. Good set of team/crew

Mr.Sunder is very professional and explained about the various options available for the treatment of cars. Showed the videos and the photos of the cars previously done. Extremely satisfied with the work done on the car and will definitely recommend it to others . Need to take the other 2 cars for pampering them. Attached the photos of the underbody treatment before and after.

Had been to 3M Car Care, Nungambakkam to get my newly owned pre-worshiped Endeavour.

Kudos to Dushy as they took care of the car from 10.30 am to 8.30 pm. They washed, rubbed, brushed, sprayed, waxed the shined the car to showroom condition. Kudos to their excellent work

Surprisingly a friend to whom I recommended had a bad experience at Santhome branch.

He went in for a wash and wax package for his Linea @ Rs.895+tax, after which certain areas like around wheel well looked dirty and bird poop on roof was still left even after waxing.

After he complained, it went off while wiping with a wet cloth but only after a big argument where they tried to convince him that it would only go if he took the full polish package at 5k

Based on our complaints, 3M Santhome called and asked us to come back for another complementary wash and wax and this time they did a good job and car was spotless.

Glad to know that your issue has been sorted out. I quite frequent the Nungambakkam outlet. All I can say that is they are professional to the core.

Bird poop still remaining after a body wash and wax is a joke. To top it up, they argue that bird poop will go only if we take a 5K package . Paying 5K for removing bird poop is real rubbish. Clearly, complacency has set it.

Correcting a mistake is a good, but the mistake leaves a bad taste.

Today, i left my 2 day old Xuv 500 for the Paint Sealant Program and the Under Chassis coating. Book an appointment in the morning at around 11 o clock and got back the car at 5:00pm. Was charged 4395 for the paint sealant and 3500 approx for the under chassis coating. Satisfactory work carried out. Xuv looks glossy and very good... Now my turn to apply couple of coats of Collinite and it's ready to hit the road.

Not sure if this has been posted already but I see that 3M have opened a new center on Arcot road just opposite Fame Cinemas. Planning to give my car for cleaning there this weekend.

Got my car back just now from 3M, arcot road. Opted for the following

1. Premium Interior Cleaning
2. Exterior foam wash
3. Sun film removal (there has been a second wave of sun film removal drive and I did not want to take chances of the cops themselves removing the films)

The overall bill came to 4000 with 400 for foam wash and 450 for sun film removal and ~3000 for the interior cleaning. The car looks new from both inside and outside now (save for some scratches which obviously are a result of driving in the city). The interior smells very nice. The interior cleaning included a 5 point check (details of which I dont remember) and cleaning the AC as well.

As of now, very satisfied. Hoping that it stays that way. A minor noise is coming from the ac vent though, which I am hoping will go away on its own. The same type of sound came when I had kept the ac in fresh air mode a couple of months back and disappeared later when I brought it back to re circulation mode.

I can post the name of the contact person and the number if anyone needs the info. Its easily available on the net as well
