Long pending update. I had to change Gear selector assembly and Clutch Assembly to get this fix. I had to spend 16K for this. Was happy with the work done and it is back on road!

I have been wanting to go to Ignite for a while, there were nagging issues that Capital Honda were waiting to get money out of me for. They had diagnosed that my car has a weak left drive shaft and the left wheel speed sensor for ABS system is non functional.

I was sure that either of this is not easy to have happened and wanted to get a thorough inspection at Ignite. The trigger came on Wednesday, I was not too well and thought I'd take the day off. When I had to go drop someone at the airport I noticed that the engine RPM is fluctuating rather wildly. Called Raghav and decided to go immediately.

The Vacuum hose tube had a rodent attack and that was causing the irregular revving. Since it wasn't in stock, I decided to leave the car there and also do a regular service at Ignite. I also report these major issues Capital Honda told me to Raghav and let him have a thorough inspection.

As it turned out, there was no issue with the drive shaft. Instead the suspension arm was what was weak. The ABS malfunction was also due to rodent attacking wires and that problem disappeared after rewiring. Along with the Vacuum hose and regular service, I also decided to switch to synthetic oil.

Total service cost - 9350.
Parts (filters, vacuum hose tube) and oil - 6470
Engine Flush (moving from mineral to synthetic oil)- 780
Water Service - 300
Rewiring Charges - 900
Regular Service Labour Charges - 900

Quality of service- 4.8/5 - car has become extremely silent like never before. I feel like many people rightly felt before!
The 0.2 is for doing a better job with car wash.

I appreciate Raghav's effort in diagnosing the actual problems and I liked the upfront honest nature and the promptness in telling the truth. That is a huge difference from Capital Honda. I would never go back to them. Their diagnosis is extremely poor in comparison.

I only wish the place was closer, right now weekends is the only time I can go that far.

Will I recommend to others? - definite Yes!
Will I go back? - Surely!

Good that this thread is alive again

I had been to Ignite a couple of weeks back to rectify my Santro's ignition timing. Wow, the garage was full with Cars parked all over.

Great going Raghav.

Fortunately or unfortunately, you are not as eye catching as your car.

Raghav's mobile number is available in post #12 in this thread (1st page). You can call him up and make an appointment for the service.

funnyguru, do you have a reason not to use Maruti?

Of course, it is your choice. Quite likely I will continue to use Maruti until after the warranty is over, then I might change to an independent, and I too have it in mind to try Ignite (I live a km or three even closer than you!)

Off topic, There is a Maruti services in Neelankarai, as you probably know. That's even closer to you.
