I got my Michelins from Deepak. Neat service and he personally checks on the work.

Recently, I had a small issue with my valve coming loose and air leaking. I went there and just asked the attendants to fix without meeting Deepak. On seeing the car, Deepak came immediately and fixed the issue himself. Will visit again.

Went to pick up a new set of tires and alloys for my Zen. Met Deepak and I have to say he is quite a friendly chap and really helpful. I will be ordering my tires tomorrow most probably and though there weren't that many alloys on display he offered to bring everything in his warehouse to the store if i call and come next time so that I can check them out personally rather than look at the brochures.

He was also telling me that he is planning to change the two wheeler tyrestore near MRF to an alloy showroom where he is planning to put up a projector setup with all the cars images loaded so that when a customer wants to see how a particular alloy looks on his car the image of his model car would be projected onto a wall where he cam mount the alloys and tires and get a real idea of how it would look on his car. He says he plans to implement this soon. I am guessing that would be a real hit with his customers.

Re: TyreStore (Chennai)

Team, i have been quoted 4700 rs for Michelin 185 70 R14 by tyrestore. I would like to know if it is a decent quote? is there a room to bargain? I also got 2.5k buy back for each of my OE tyres (165 80 R14 - MRF ZV2K).

P.S.: The tyre upgrade is for my new SWIFT.

Ive jut upgraded to Yoko A Drive, 185 70 R14. Got a great deal from TyreStore, Chennai. MRFs were picked up for 2500/tyre and new ones costed 4080rs/tyre. Gave away 5 tyres and bought 4 yokos + 1 used spare (got the used one for free). Total came upto rs 3800 rs after exchange. Great VFM! and superb service from Tyrestore . Will recommend tyrestore, greams road for anyone who wish to upgrade their tyres.

well, yokos for me are VFM and I get the same driving comfort in the city as michelin. More over my drive is 90% in city and 10% highways and hence I picked up the yokos. Talk to deepak and I am sure he will be able to guide you.
