Haute Car zone is a joint venture between CARS India and another company.Yes they are expensive but in seats they have lot of choices.

You can also try Sandhya in alwarpet its near Udhi Eye hospital

Hi folks, trying to get Art leather seat covers for my Jazz in Chennai.

Is anyone aware of a good Shop at GP road or near velachery?
Learnt from the forum that Jeewajee is there in GP road as well,is this the same guy who owns the shop at anna nagar? any feedback on their work(with photos is very much appreciated).

I ‘am looking for Slip-on types (don't want to damage the Original manufacturer seats by stitching them.), and if the price is reasonable will get the steering cover as well.

I checked at Privilege motomall and they are quoting Rs 8000+ for Auto Form. Is the price ok? Or is it on the higher side?

Auto form is a known brand and good quality. I think maybe 6-7K should do the trick. You would get stuff for even 2000/- in GP road local shops but they would be the worst quality rexine.

Art Leather steering wheel cover (Stiched on to the car's steering wheel and NOT slip on type) costs 500/-.

Jewajee in GP road is owned by the same people but per Mohammed (the owner at Anna Nagar), the GP road shop is for quick fits (standard types) as there is a constraint on parking space. Autoform has many models ranging from 5500 odd to 9500 odd. The slip on types should be less than 6500 (when I last checked earlier this year).

Dolphin seat covers is another option that will at a similar price range. The other decent places for fitting that I know of are

a) Xenos galleria in Nandhanam who offers autoform
b) If you are near Medavakkam, Motozone in sembakkam (they have some good fitters)
c) SriKum car accessories near Nugambakkam high road

Jeewajee in GP Road is famous for seat covers for a long long time. But off late, they have also become a one time client business house. You have to bargain for what you want. If you come to anna nagar, i can recommend you to Mohammed for a fair deal. Ask rr_zen.

Got seat covers from "Genuine car accessory" in t nagar near PSBB school. Got Autoform Ultraplus Maroon/Offwhite for 5500(seat cover)+400(labor charge).Privilege motomall asked for 8000+labor charges for the same design and same colour,looked like day robbery.Over all GCA did a pretty decent job.But you need to have a lot of patience. Went there around 5.30 pm on sunday and started back home around 9.30 PM. Had a decent crowd(1 fiat palio,2 maruti 800,1 tavera,1 chevy beat,1 maruti swift VDI,1 VW polo) even on Sunday.


Looks like Xenos no longer deal with seat covers. They purely deal with ice and other electronics installation.

Was not able to find Motozone and Srikum ph numbers so went with Genuine car accessories.

Did my Dzire car seat covers from here recently. Work done was thorough and professional. I'd opted for Mustang leather which cost me Rs. 12,000. Very satisfied with the end product - even had a couple of compliments on the seat quality and finish.
