Is 5252c 12x12 is a tractor trailer or rigid truck. If its TT, then the steering mechanism for rear axle may be of passive type as in Vestibule bus. If not this should be an active steering I guess.

From pics, it doesn't look like a TT. Also, the 2nd axle is steerable too, along with too small a wheel base for a tractor if it were one. The usage of the term tractor as in Artillery tractor is common in Mil talk, so it might've been used here in a generic context. Again, just some guesses!

It looks like a rigid truck with front two axles steerable, also the rear two axles also looks like steerable (from the first picture).
They would have mentioned it as TT considering the length and usage.

Yes, I did think the same way.
Looking at the pictures, with reduced gap between Cabin and tractor, I suspected it to be a rigid truck. This will be a expansion from current 8X8 range.
